About the Author: Yos Riady is the founder of Formo's where he leads product and engineering. Yos is pioneering the data platform that make analytics and attribution simple for onchain apps and builders in DeFi & crypto.
Previous Experience: Chainlink
Before Formo, Yos was an early contributor at Chainlink, the industry-standard oracle platform bringing the capital markets onchain and powering the majority of decentralized finance. Most recently, Yos was the technical lead and staff software engineer for the Chainlink Staking protocol, which held $1B in TVL at its peak on Ethereum mainnet.
During his time with Chainlink at a period called 'DeFi Summer', the startup experienced hypergrowth and became the leading oracle solution used across DeFi, including by leading protocols such as Aave, Compound, Maker, Spark, and Fluid.
This background in building infrastructure and tools for builders continues with his mission at Formo: focusing on solving real problems in crypto with tangible utility, security, and user experience.
Background & Education
Yos graduated from the National University of Singapore on a full academic scholarship, where he studied Computer Science. Prior to crypto, he worked in traditional payments (PayPal) and a hyper-growth startup (Grab) building large-scale systems and APIs.
Yos jumped headfirst into crypto in 2018 and spent a few years in smart contract development, smart contract security, and DeFi protocols before joining Chainlink.
At Formo, Yos combines his diverse background with a specific focus: building the definitive analytics and attribution toolset for the next generation of apps onchain, so they can focus on growth.
