About the Author: Yos Riady is the founder of Formo where he leads product and engineering on the Formo data platform. He specializes in building analytics, attribution, and data tooling for crypto applications.

Expertise & Industry Experience

Before founding Formo, Yos was an early contributor at Chainlink, the industry-standard oracle network used across onchain capital markets and decentralized finance (DeFi.)

Yos served as the technical lead and staff software engineer for Chainlink Staking, a protocol that reached $1B TVL on Ethereum mainnet. He has extensive experience in smart contract development, protocol design, and security audits.

During the hypergrowth period widely known as 'DeFi Summer', Yos helped scale the Chainlink platform into the dominant oracle for leading protocols such as Aave, Compound, Maker, Spark, Fluid, and many more.

His background includes extensive hands-on experience in:

• High-scale infrastructure and developer tooling

Background & Education

Yos graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) on a full academic scholarship, earning a degree in Computer Science.

Prior to crypto, he worked in traditional payments (PayPal) building payments APIs and a hyper-growth startup (Grab) building large-scale systems and developer tools.

He jumped headfirst into crypto in 2018 and dabbled in smart contract development, smart contract security, and DeFi protocols before joining Chainlink.
