MRR / ARR Calculator
Convert revenue from any period into daily, monthly, and annual run rates.
Convert Revenue to MRR and ARR
Enter revenue earned and the number of days in the period to estimate MRR and ARR.
What are MRR and ARR?
Monthly recurring revenue (MRR) measures recurring revenue over one month. Annual recurring revenue (ARR) is its annual equivalent. This calculator can also annualize revenue earned over any number of days, but a fee run rate is an estimate of pace, not a contractual recurring revenue commitment.
How to calculate MRR and ARR
Enter revenue earned and the number of days in the measured period. Daily revenue = period revenue ÷ days. The normalized monthly run rate is daily revenue × 365 ÷ 12, and the annual run rate is daily revenue × 365. For subscriptions, use contracted recurring revenue instead of a short-period estimate when available.
An MRR and ARR example
A protocol earns $30,000 in fees over 30 days. That is $1,000 per day, about $30,417 in normalized monthly revenue, and a $365,000 annual run rate if the pace continues. These are run-rate estimates, not a forecast of realized fees.
How to interpret revenue run rate
Compare several windows to see whether the pace is stable. A rising run rate can reflect durable customer growth, temporary market activity, or incentive-driven volume. Keep subscription MRR separate from annualized protocol fees when reporting the business.
What run rate does not predict
Annualizing a short window assumes its average daily revenue continues for a full year. Market volatility, one-off events, seasonality, fee changes, and churn can make actual revenue very different. The growth scenario is an assumption, not an observed result.
